Exploring Strange New (and Old) Worlds

To Proudly Go produces weekly Star Trek events every Saturday at 6:00 PM at Industry Bar (355 West 52nd Street, New York, NY 10019). What began with our first gathering in August 2021 has grown into one of NYC’s most vibrant and consistent queer sci-fi community events, with audiences that continue to expand each season.

Each show invites guests to play Star Trek trivia for prizes, experience high-energy Star Trek–themed drag performances, watch the latest episodes from across the franchise, meet special guests from the fandom and beyond, and shop exclusive To Proudly Go merchandise—all while enjoying 2-for-1 drink specials in a welcoming, affirming space.

Beyond entertainment, these weekly events are a powerful vehicle for community building. To Proudly Go cultivates a growing network of LGBTQ+ fans and allies who connect through a shared love of science fiction and the hopeful, inclusive futures it imagines. In recognition of our impact, TPG has been featured at major events across New York City and the metropolitan area, including Brooklyn Pride, Flame Con, and Star Trek Long Island.

Drag artistry is central to our mission. Through both our own programming and partnerships throughout the community, our drag performers serve as dynamic ambassadors—celebrating queer creativity, amplifying visibility, and helping audiences connect more deeply with the work and mission of To Proudly Go.
