New York, NY — To Proudly Go, the nonprofit organization dedicated to creating inclusive, fandom-powered community spaces, invites fans to beam up for the series premiere viewing party of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy on Saturday, January 17 at 6:00 PM at Industry Bar NYC.
The evening will feature a special appearance by RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 12 Top 5 finalist Jackie Cox, a beloved performer known for blending glamour, comedy, and pop-culture cosplay—including Star Trek–inspired looks that have made her a fan favorite among trekkies and LGBTQIA+ audiences alike. Jackie Cox will be joined by an all-star lineup of drag performers including Heather Wood, Godiva Romance, Princess Bitch, and Thatcher Black, delivering a Trek’tastic drag show celebrating sci-fi, self-expression, and community.
Guests can expect 2-for-1 happy hour drinks, Star Trek trivia, Trek’tacular prizes, giveaways, exclusive merchandise, and immersive fan experiences throughout the night. Each week of the Starfleet Academy viewing series is dedicated to supporting Pop Culture Hero Coalition, highlighting the power of fandom to uplift, connect, and empower LGBTQIA+ communities.

About Jackie Cox
Jackie Cox is an acclaimed Iranian-Canadian drag performer, entertainer, and theatre artist based in New York City. Best known for competing on Season 12 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, where she finished in the Top 5, Jackie is celebrated for representing diverse identities onstage and for her creative pop-culture cosplay. She also appears in the comic book Never Alone, a project by Pop Culture Hero Coalition that empowers LGBTQIA+ youth by featuring drag icons as mentoring heroes.
